What's inside a normal anal sac?

The anal sacs are weird little thin-lined pouches which produce the stank nasty secretions we all know and hate. 

 

But what exactly is inside the anal sacs normally? 

 

If you take a look at anal sac contents under the microscope, you’ll find a combo of keratin and bacteria

There shouldn’t be any inflammatory cells or clusters of epithelial cells in normal anal sacs. 

 

So now you know what that anal sac juice that squirted on you looks like microscopically. You’re welcome.
